Oleander District

The members of Reidsville Garden Club were the gracious hosts of the bi-annual Oleander District Board Meeting. The meetings were held on January 30, 2013 at the Reidsville Garden Clubhouse. |
|
The Metter Garden Club dedicated a Blue Star Marker in a Veterans Day celebration on November 12, 2012 on the Courthouse Square. Participating in the dedication was VFW Post 5893. Senator Jack Hill and local dignitaries were on hand for this memorable event. |
|
Every December, members from each of the six Bulloch County Garden Clubs decorate a tree in the Bulloch County Courthouse and a tree in the Courthouse Annex. The Courthouse tree is traditional and the Annex tree is a patriotic tree. |

At the Oleander District Meeting in October 2012, a special program was presented by Merv Greenburg on "The Art of Bonsai." |

The St. Marys Garden Club invites all 2013 District Meeting attendees to come to Jekyll Island on October 22, 2013. |
|
Sea Oats Garden Club members produced unique handmade items for the St. Williams Church Christmas Bazaar in November 2012 on St. Simons Island. Proceeds go toward funding special and ongoing club projects. |
