Board Briefs
Board Briefs is the official newsletter of the Garden Club of Georgia Board of Directors. It is published three times per year and distributed primarily via email to all garden club presidents, state and District board members and any club member who wishes to receive it. Clubs who do not have email access, receive the newsletter through the postal mail. Announcements, photographs of recent events, convention information, registration forms and promotion of upcoming activities are but some of the items included in the newsletter. District Newsletters
Each of our seven Districts publishes a newsletter for their club members which promotes GCG programs and projects and highlights activities that are happening in the District. Individual club events are also featured. Click on the District name to link to the District page where you can access recent issues of their newsletters.
Expressions, Engagement Calendar
Each year, GCG publishes a calendar which showcases floral designs created by very talented members throughout the state. From the applications received, a panel of Master Judges select the designs to be included in the calendar and determine who will be the "Calendar Arranger of the Year" and runner-up. Revenue raised from the sale of these calendars funds scholarships for deserving students attending Georgia colleges or universities and majoring in garden related fields. The desk size calendar or purse size are priced at $8.00 and can be ordered with this form. Each District has a Calendar Marketing Chairman who promotes sales, takes orders and distributes the calendars at the Fall District Meetings.
